The grounds of the Calgary Stampede offer a multitude of additional entertainment and experiences including Livestock exhibits, Marching Bands, the Calgary Stampede Show Riders, the Stampede Casino and much more! Our guests were free to explore the Stampede grounds for 2 complete days.
When we weren't experiencing the excitement of the rodeo, we explored the tranquility of the Canadian Rockies. An afternoon of outdoor fun at Boundary Ranch with horseback riding, biking and hiking in the foothills of the beautiful mountains. Another day in the quaint town of Banff and in Banff National Park featuring a boat ride on a crystal blue mountain lake and a ride up the Sulphur Mountain Gondola for breathtaking views of the magnificent Rockies. An elegant luncheon at the prestigious Banff Springs Hotel prepared by a Canadian Gold Medal Plate Award-winning chef completed the experience. All these, with Stampede, created the perfect mountain reward for our guests.
